Bestwear Ltd. was founded in 1971 in Shop Street, Drogheda by Patrick “Sonny” Murphy. It became a firm favourite with the townspeople offering unbelievable service and prices that would not be beaten. As the business grew, it was decided to open a section upstairs in Bestwear dedicated to the latest fashions and trends. Thriving on this success, new premises were found to expand this side of the business. In 1990 Mansworld was established on West Street in the heart of the town and instantly became popular.
